Blogger 2014 Challenge: Books

I recently read Eleanor Roosevelt's autobiography, which was a gift from my sister last Christmas. It took me a year to read it; while it was a fabulous book, I just failed to prioritize reading in 2013 (one of this year's resolutions is to read every night for 15 minutes to bed). I was so excited to finally finish this book! The first half of the book recounts her life by her husband's side, but it really gets interesting in the second half. This part recounts her time on her own, views on political situations, snarky remarks to allegations the media said against her, and describes amazing travels throughout the world including to the Soviet Union during the Cold War (twice). She has fabulous political advice and real world advice. I would definitely suggest this book!
